TASL’s swanky new 15,000 sq ft corporate office in Adibhatla, Hyderabad is a vibrant, fun place to work in and was completed in just two months; a record of sorts.
As one enters the TASL workplace one is struck by the sense of a vast open space and an atmosphere of mobility and movement. It is a prime example of ‘Cargotecture’ where containers are utilized to design and build.
The design is a boxed one with different boxes designed for different utilities and using different dimensions gives everything an interesting twist. Lots of metal work has been used to give it a pop and rock band culture feel. The open curving metal staircase with wooden slats is an echo of the rest of the décor and somehow gels all of this together.
The boxes seemingly hang from the ceiling and give a creative, playful irreverent ethos to an otherwise functional hall.
The cheery, cherry red and electric blue colors, along with tones of olive and wood , combine a passion for work with a calming ,relaxing mood and strive to keep everything in balance
The furniture is no frills and functional with work tables of white and wooden finish laminates. However the chairs are ergonomically designed to offer lumbar support for the long working hours and with mesh fabric upholstery for breathability.
The recreation area is delineated with a sunken floor and features a café like atmosphere with olive green floors and bar stool seating. Plush pastel cushioned sofas line the area and provide a welcome relief from work.
Designed and built in just 60 days TASL workspace is a completely co-ordinated interior where all design aspects including wall coverings, lighting solutions and furniture all gels together perfectly. It is a fun, creative but at the same time productive space to work in.
