The huge circular reception bay is designed to give a digital and hi tech environment. The walls are cladded in futuristic finishes with polka dot digital design. Laminates in wood finishes as well as bright jewel colors catch the eye and keep the place energized. Pixelated digital prints on plain white wall claddings bring in an aura of interesting décor. A major portion of the walls are laminated in wooden finishes to give a warm touch to the otherwise digital décor.
Deloitte’s commitment to environmental issues is showcased with the use of green nature in a variety of innovative ways. The use of vertical gardens used as wall art is a unique concept along with sectioned partitions having pinewood boxes containing green pots. Various potted plants are dotted throughout the workspace area to give a calming atmosphere to work in.
Plain white track and recessed lighting is used all over for energetic efficient illumination of the spaces. Interesting designs used in track and concealed lighting in geometric shapes add to the innovative aura of the work spaces. Floor lamps in the seating area give a cozy look and feel in the reception and recreation areas.
Special attention has been given to seating throughout the Deloitte premises. Seating in the reception area and lobbies and corridors is in the art deco style. Chairs of differing designs are grouped together and huge floor lamps give a luxurious effect. The seating in the cafeteria is also informal with lively colored upholstery.
Office seating is ergonomically designed to provide comfortable support for long working hours at the office. Clear glass partitions with a dotted digital design etched on them effectively transmit light to make the small office cubicles more dynamic.
Interesting ceiling effects have been incorporated throughout, especially large areas such as conference rooms and the community recreation areas. Gypsum board, acrylic sheets and wooden laminates have been used to give dramatic effect to ceilings.
Deloitte is one of the most elegant and tranquil office spaces in Bangalore. They were a special client with a clear vision and the right budget. The project was completed in a record 120 days and the premises handed over to a satisfied client.
