The vast entrance lobby is done up in shades of white and blue and black, with white being the predominant color signifying its commitment to sports. The ceiling has a circular theme throughout the store symbolizing the Olympic rings. The rings have been repeated in the circular installation of neon light fixtures.

The ceiling of Decathlon store forms one of the most important structural elements it terms of functionality as well as creativity which in turn bring good aesthetics to the building interior. The rotund cutouts suspended from an interstitial ceiling in colors of cherry red, black and electric blue add a vibrant energetic aura to the space. The rings have been repeated in the circular installation of neon light fixtures.

Huge hanging pendant lamps scattered throughout the premises give the effect of a fitness gym; just what the client specifications were! The gym effect hits one right at the entrance itself where an elaborate jungle gym has been conceptualized. The large wall to wall clear glass partition is emblazoned with the company’s motto stating its commitment to sports. The rope installation outside reminds one of the sport of rappelling and mountain climbing.

A touch of greenery is added in the window box at the entrance.

The circular theme is carried throughout the interiors and is reflected in the seating also. Seating has been arranged in circular combination and in a futuristic style again carrying forward the color theme of electric blue and cherry red. Pinewood has been used for the wooden campfire style seating.

One of the most highly innovative feature is the section enclose in bright blue metal mesh. It gives one the feel of the training nets in the cricket fields across India, a cricket crazy nation.

The huge reception area has been partitioned with a white laminated wall depicting a world map in blue with locations of Decathlon outlets marked on it. This is an interactive wall and catches the interest of the customers as they wait.

Our Centrix design team has gone all out in their creativeness and innovative thinking to design a space which gives an ultra-outdoorsy and sporty feel to the whole ambience of the outlet. This theme efficiently represents the products being offered by the company and its USP and it turned out to be an effective marketing strategy.
