The reception lounge area of CMA MGM shared service center, a major shipping company workplace has been designed to have a no nonsense business aura. The ceiling is in rafter style giving it a linear defined look and the strip lighting echoes the same. The interiors are effectively illuminated to provide effective light transmission throughout the workspace.

The walls are mainly white with the company logo occupying eye space behind the main desk. The work station is also in white laminate and a functional design. The seating is however in plush black faux leather couches.

The main focal point of interest in the visiting area is the feature wall displaying the huge portrait of its founder. It is a unique and innovative style of décor and the rest of the area being bare the interest of the visitor is drawn towards it.

The conference room is interconnected and interactive with highly ergonomic chairs with back and lumbar support fixtures to provide comfort during long hours of seating. The carpet is cherry red to bring in passion to the room, passion for work! It gels with the black chairs to give an effect of drama.

The partition of satin finished glass affords privacy but at the same time does not block the flow of light. The recessed and track white lighting, lights up the meeting room effectively. The white laminated walls reflect light to magnify the sense of space.

The vast workspace bay has been given a neutral functional décor all over with splashes of mint green and orange to bring in interest and break the monotony. Flush mounted lighting provides an effective light solution to the vast space.

The neutral grey flooring and the white office furniture gives a connected and a calming effect. The chairs are ergonomically designed to provide support for long working hours at the office.

Strategically placed, clamp on privacy panels on the work stations, benefit a good level of separation and still allow easy impromptu collaborations. The walkthrough areas have been provided enough space for easy mobility and the work desks have sufficient leg room and cabinetry for storing supplies.

The Centrix design team has gone all out to provide a workspace that is efficient and functional and yet still affords a medium of privacy. Pops of color have been added intermittently to bring in a fun and lively element and provide a holistic décor.
